Wow, it's been a while since I've actually posted something legit. January I believe. Quite a bit has happened since then. I've managed to acquire some sort of boyfriend. That's been going on since the end of February. I failed my last semester in school (darn drawing classes). I'm taking this next semester off. I've recently become addicted to Tumblr. Tumblr, Facebook, Boyfriend, Work. That's pretty much been my summer. Rather pointless apart from the BF and the working if you ask me. That's what happens when your closest friends are at least 20 minutes away, and the ones you actually talk to and hang out with live as far as Florida. That's life I guess. I'm not sure if I'll be going back to school anytime soon. I feel like I need to settle myself down first, move out, get a car, something. I hope to go back eventually. I'm just sick of people nagging on me for taking the semester off, automatically assuming I'll never go back, and being all disappointed. Well it's not their life. I'd better get off here and get ready for work. Not sure when I'll post something again.

So my last post was written at the study area. Well it's the 3rd week of the second semester, and the study area is off limits due to lack of proper storage at this school. So now, I'm sitting in the cafeteria, being all self conscious and what-not because there's a bunch of people in here. I only had one class today, and that ended at 9:25. I still have an hour and a half to wait. Ugh, I also work tonight. So yea. Not much on this end. I'm taking 2 drawing classes this semester, which totally suck because I don't like to and can't draw. There really isn't anything for me to really talk about, or anything I feel like typing out. I'll probably post something later...or not. Who knows.

College, NaNoWriMo, Life

So right now, as in this second, I'm sitting at one of the study areas at my college. Pretty cool huh? It still baffles me sometimes to think of myself as a college student. I'm majoring in Graphic Design, which is awesome. Other than the fact that classes are based on your major, it isn't much different from High School. I expected people to be a little more mature but no. There's still the same cliques, gossip, drama. *sigh* Oh, and a crap load of homework and a bajillion papers! haha.
So I am now an official participant of NaNoWriMo this year. If you don't know what that is, it's National Novel Writing Month. It's like a competition, only you don't really win anything except the bragging rights and the knowledge that you actually wrote a 50,000 (at least) novel. So I'm pretty excited. So life in general is sort of boring. I started work at Fashion Bug about a week before school started. We moved in with Barry (my mom's boyfriend). I've hardly had any social life since graduation last year. Yea, that's about it.

Book of Shadows

I just finished reading this amazing book. It's called "Book of Shadows" by Cate Tiernan. It really got me thinking too. Now, I know this is going to sound crazy, but here me out. The book is about a girl and how she joins this coven and finds out she is a blood witch. The book is about the Wicca religion. After reading it, I started to look into the religion some more. Now here's where you might think I'm crazy. I think I want to become wiccan now. "Krystal, that's stupid, you can't just say that after reading one book. A fiction book at that!" See, I know what your thinking, haha. Well, I did some research, and most of what I found said stuff about how you just know. Whether it be through some life changing experience or not. After I finished reading this book, I got this feeling. Something like, I can't even describe. It was almost as if this is what I have to do. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. In some ways, I think it might really help me, you know, beloning and believing in something (since I consider myself agnostic, I don't know where I really fit in). To be honest though, I have no idea where to start. I could just declare myself wicca, then study for a year and a day, join a coven, etc. Now, I'm a very self-concious person. So I don't just want to come out and tell my family what I'm thinking, or anyone else for that matter. I know someone, a girl from school, who practices wicca, but I would have no idea how to tell her how I feel, considering I rarely ever talk to her in the first place. I don't want to seem like someone who just jumped the bandwagon. See what I mean by very self-concious? Oh and my friends, they would never take me seriously. Most, if not all, of them go to church every sunday. The last time I was at a church was for a funeral a while ago.
Something inside me wants me to pursue this. Another part of me just wants to let it go and forget about it. The only other person I've talked to about this was my youngest brother, and he doesn't even know how I really feel about it. Actually, all I said to him was "Hey, what would you think if I decided to become wiccan?" and you know what he said? "I would say 'cool', how can I join". He doesn't take this as seriously as I do. He just wants to be able to do magick and stuff like that. I told him that's not what it's about, and I could tell he wasn't as interested. I'm so lost when it comes to this, but I feel like I need to do something about it too.
*Sigh* You guys probably think I'm on crack or something.

Change Your Life in 31 Days

I've recently come across this project on facebook called Change Your Life in 31 Days. Supposedly, you can change your life by doing 1 thing everyday for 31 days, that you normally wouldn't/don't do on a daily basis. I've decided to participate in the project. I'm going to do homework for 31 days. Haha, seriously. My grades are really bad, and I only have 1 more semester to bring them up. My grades are jepordizing my graduation, so when I found this project, I was kind of happy. It's going to be really hard, considering I'm naturally a lazy person. I'd rather read or make graphics than do homework.
I'm currently in Website Management. I just found out that I'm exempt from the finals (which is to create a website). That means I have a free week to do nothing. I just finished my mid-term for this class (which was to create a website). Well, I'm bored, and I should probably fix up my website.
I probably won't update for a while.

Life

Boy is this going to be a busy week! This is when multi-tasking would be great to know how to do! Bandfront tryouts start on Wednesday. Friday is the day of the actual tryouts. I just got home from chorus rehearsal. The concert is tomorrow night. I have to start reading the Great Gatsby. We just got them today in English, and we have to have it read by May 14. Since I didn't read the Scarlet Letter, I think I'd better read this one. I'm totally failing English right now. I have a D, and since I didn't do my last forum posting, I probably have an E. Gosh, that sucks. Only one more year to deal with High School though. To be honest, I'm scared shitless. I have no idea what I'm going to do once I get out of school. Should I move out? Go to college? I have no idea. I want to go to school for Meteorology, but what kind of job can I get with that? I think it would be cool to chase some storms, but could I really make a living off of that? Archeology also seems like a cool subject. I could dig around in the dirt, dig up some bones and stuff. Once again, would I be able to actually get a job with a degree in that? Why are things so complicated? Then again, I do tend to make things more complicated than they actually are. I over-think. I'm still trying to decide whether that is good or bad. Gosh. Moving on! My friend, Steph, let me borrow a few books, and they were really good! Uglies, and Pretties. The end of Pretties left me pretty pissed off though. It's all Shay's fault. That's all I have to say. I still don't know who I would rather have Tally with: David or Zane? I've also been doing a lot of obsessing over Twilight. I'm going to keel over and die once that movie comes out. I know it's going to suck, but still. It's like Harry Potter. You know the movies won't be nearly as good as the books, but you have to watch them anyways. I adore Robert Pattinson! He's gonna make a great Edward. I we a little "eh" about Kristen Stewert playing Bella, but after watching a few clips, I think she'll do great. Taylor Lautner as Jacob is PERFECT! He is so adorable! And Oh. My. Gosh. Kellan Lutz is a hottie! Emmett is probably going to be my favorite character in the movie (after Edward of course). I know, I'm obsessed. Well, I guess I'd better start my Homework. Only 4 more days this week, then it's the weekend. Good Night!

Obsessions

So. I have recently accepted the fact that I am, indeed, obsessed with Twilight. I check the website every day. I'm constantly searching for info on the movie. Being obsessed is exhausting.
PSSA testing is this week. It starts tomorrow. I hate testing. I guess it's a good thing that everyday this week is a half day. And we don't have school on Friday.
I'm hungry. Wow, I guess that is totally random. It's 11:33pm, I should be in bed. Actually, I should be writing a 3 page essay due by 12:59pm. That's not gonna happen though. Like I said, I'm exhausted. I've been sick all weekend, and I still am sick. Being sick sucks. Wow, this was some rant. G'night

So. I found out that if I do pretty decent on my PSSA's for Math and English, I won't have to take the finals for those classes next year. How sweet is that?! Nothing much is new here. Me and Kodi started our Senior Project. It really isn't that hard to teach 8th Graders how to twirl a flag. If I haven't already mentioned it, Kodi and I are trying to recruit new members for Band Front aka Colorguard. It's working pretty good so far.

Well, I'm pretty hype for the "Twilight" movie to come out. I check Stephenie Meyer's website practically every day. Maybe I have an obsession. I’m pretty surprised. When I was young, I absolutely hated reading, now I read 2 to 3 books a week. I’ve started to branch out from fantasy to fantasy-romance books. Most of the ones I have read so far have had vampires in them ;)

Ugh, so gym started not too long ago. It hasn't been so bad. We start Cardio in a few weeks though. I think I might try and get a doctors not. Omgosh, I definitely have writers block right now. I'll post another rant later.

So. There's quite a bit to write about. Where to start. School sucks, as usual. The clubs are going good. Midterms start this week. Those are going to suck. Steph, JT, and myself plan on going bowling in a few weeks...at Sonic. Thats right. I'm going to bring the bowling set, and JT is providing the transportation. We're gonna park it and play. Ha ha. I wonder if they'll try and shoo us away. Also, like next Monday, Steph and I are having a Cranium/Guitar Hero III/Saw movie marathon party. That should be fun. So theres not much more to talk about. I'm getting my hair cut today. I'm not sure yet how short I want it. Hmm. I think I'm done now. No, Wait. Christmas. It was pretty cool, but still boring. I got coffee, biscotti's, 3 books, 20Q, a book bag, and some pencils. Ha ha. Oh, and money. I'm now addicted to coffee. Thats probably not good though, because coffee is a drug. WARNING: I'm pretty random

Ok. Where should I start. School started around the end of August. Its pretty good. Here is, pretty much, my schedule: Chorus..French II..Earth Science..SAT Critical Reading Prep..U.S. History..Geometry..English 11..Graphic and Illustration Design. Nothing really interesting. What else. Since I don't like to do my homework, I try to make cool stuff. But that's hard to do because I don't have Photoshop, or adobe illustrator. So I use online programs, Microsoft word, and paint.

The band season pretty much ended, towards the beginning of November, with the VA Hospital Parade. I was pretty cold.

So , over the summer, me and some friends went to the beach. That day was pretty interesting. Steph lost her glasses....in the ocean. Both Steph and Sarah kinda freaked out on the Ferris wheel. I have pictures =). A few weeks ago, my aunt took me and some friends to Field of Screams. That was awesome. My favorite attraction was probably the haunted hayride. Also a few weeks ago, me and some friends went to a corn maze...at night. We met some pretty hot guys, we also met a pyro (this kid stuck his hand on top of the fire, and it didn't hurt him). Sometime in December, hopefully, I can get my Christmas Ball dress. I can't wait for the chorus trip to New York in May. We are going like, 1 or 2 days after Sarah's birthday, and about 2-3 days before mine (our birthdays are only 4 days apart). I also cant wait for prom, even though I don't know who I'm going with.

Since I'm a Junior this year, I wanted to join tons of clubs. Here's the list so far: Big Brothers Big Sisters...Best Buddies...Character Club. Its not a very big list, but its enough to keep me busy.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I got it on the 21st and began reading as soon as I got home. Its sad that there will not be any more Harry Potter books. I finished the book at around 2 this morning. Now that I have nothing to read, I sorta feel empty. I don't know what to do now because for the last three days, all I did was read.

The book was pretty good though. I think J.K. Rowling should start writing another series about Harry's children. About their adventures. Anyways. It was still a really good book.
